Job Specification: Sales Counselor
Department: Advance Planning
Reports to: Sales Manager
Compensation: Commission
Position Summary and Primary Responsibility:
Sales Counselor is responsible for serving pre-need families that come to the office or call to arrange for services. Additionally, the sales Counselor is required to make followup in home calls in a proactive manner, to provide assistance to famiies, secure additional sales and gernerate referrals.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Two years of sales experience or related fields resulting in direct contact with the public. They must be able to complete the training program and possess good oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Must have transportation to conduct family service follow up and pre-need sales. They must also possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
