The Paxtang Mausoleum: Originally constructed in 1916
and expanded in the early 1920’s, this beautiful Chapel
Mausoleum features impressive stained glass windows.
In the west, faceted glass windows depict the resurrection
of Jesus. A Heavenly Angel catches the morning sun in the
southeastern end of the Chapel and many more. The
skylights are also made of stained glass. The elegant
furnishings make for comfortable visitation and committal
services. A limited number of crypts are still available.
We hope to be building a new mausoleum on the grounds
in the near future.
The Paxtang Mausoleum is one of the cemetery’s greatest treasures. The first phase was built in 1916 and the second in 1921. The entire mausoleum is made of granite and white marble. Inside you will find intricate stained glass windows in the walls and ceiling. Brass gates enhance the beauty of family crypts. There are currently four remaining crypts in this mausoleum. We hope to be building a new mausoleum in the near future. The mausoleum is also used today for chapel services during inclement weather.
Private Estate Mausoleum: Paxtang Cemetery has reserved a scenic area along the greenbelt designated for your family to install your own Private Estate Mausoleum. They are more affordable than ever- the cost being comparable to the purchase of a new luxury car. But more importantly, this type of investment will last indefinitely.
